Getting started
Gleam is a mobile-first CRM and job management app for UK sole traders and small service businesses — window cleaners, gardeners, cleaners, mobile mechanics, and anyone who works job-to-job. It handles leads, scheduling, job tracking, and payments in one place, from your phone.
Gleam is designed mobile-first for iPhone and Android. It also works in a desktop browser. Most users run everything from their phone — which is the point. You shouldn't need to sit down at a computer to run your business.
About 5 minutes. You'll enter your business name, add your first customer, and you're running. There's no migration wizard, no onboarding checklist, no training videos — just the app. Start with one job and go from there.
Yes — genuinely free, no credit card required. The Starter plan gives you 10 active jobs, lead capture, basic scheduling, and PDF invoice generation. It's not a time-limited trial. It stays free as long as you want it.
Gleam is currently in development and testing with a small group of tradespeople. We're taking waitlist signups now — join to be first in line when we open up and to lock in an early-adopter rate.
Features
Recurring job templates are on the roadmap for the Pro plan. You'll be able to set a job to repeat weekly, fortnightly, or monthly and it'll auto-populate your calendar with the customer's details. Coming shortly after launch.
When you mark a job complete, generate a branded invoice in one tap. Send it via email, WhatsApp, or a shareable link. The Pro plan adds card payment acceptance — customers pay directly from the invoice on their phone. No more chasing BACS transfers.
Yes. From any job screen you can attach photos (before/after shots are popular), typed notes, and extras added on-site. These are stored against the job and customer record permanently — useful if a dispute ever arises.
Xero and QuickBooks integrations are planned. At launch, invoices export as PDF. Join the waitlist and tell us which integrations matter most — it shapes what we prioritise.
The Pro plan includes 1 user plus 1 team member. The Business plan (coming soon) supports up to 10 operatives with individual job assignment, a shared calendar, and team-level reporting.
Core functions — viewing your schedule, reading job details, and adding notes — work without a signal. Syncing changes and sending invoices requires an internet connection. We're working on expanded offline support for areas with poor coverage.
Pricing & billing
Exact prices are confirmed at launch. Waitlist members receive advance notice and the opportunity to lock in an early-adopter rate before the public launch. Join the waitlist to stay informed.
Payment processing carries a small per-transaction fee from our payment provider — similar to iZettle or SumUp. This is separate from the Gleam subscription. We'll publish the exact rate before launch — it's standard market rate with no surprises.
Yes. Cancel any time from your account settings — no phone calls, no cancellation forms, no awkward retention emails. Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation so you can export it. After that it's deleted permanently.
Invoices include all required fields for Making Tax Digital compliance. Full VAT invoice support — with VAT number, rate breakdowns, and totals — is arriving in an early update post-launch.
Security & your data
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Gleam is hosted in the UK on infrastructure that meets ISO 27001 standards. We carry out regular security audits. See our privacy policy for the full details.
No. We are a subscription software business. We make money from your subscription, not from selling or sharing your data. We will never sell your customer records, business data, or usage patterns to third parties.
Yes. You can export all your customer records, job history, and invoices at any time from your account settings. Exports are available as CSV and PDF. You own your data — always.
Account deletion is available directly from Settings → Account → Delete account. This is permanent and irreversible. Export your data first if you need it. For any issues, email contact-us@gleam-jobflow.co.uk.
